Low VOC and Low Odor Formulation XYC A-2430EL is a low VOC fluorinated dry film lubricant developed for precision applications where low volatility and clean lubrication are important. After application, the carrier solvent evaporates and leaves a thin, semi-transparent and dry lubricating film on the component surface. The low odor formulation makes it particularly suitable for enclosed electronic modules, precision mechanisms and equipment where excessive volatile residues or unwanted deposits need to be controlled. Dry Film Lubrication Without Greasy Residue Unlike conventional grease-based lubrication, XYC A-2430EL forms a dry and non-tacky lubricating film after evaporation. The resulting film helps reduce oil migration, surface contamination and dust accumulation. This makes it suitable for small gears, sliding components, shafts, rails, clips and other precision mechanisms where excessive grease or liquid lubricant may affect movement or cleanliness. Improved Wear Performance for Medium-Load Mechanisms Compared with lighter dry film formulations, XYC A-2430EL uses a relatively higher-viscosity PFPE base oil to provide a somewhat thicker lubricating film after application. This helps improve wear resistance and service durability in mechanisms subject to moderate friction and load. It is a practical option when a low-VOC formulation is required but a lighter film does not provide sufficient service life.
